Here’s a volunteer opportunity with Arizona Greyhound Rescue:
Experienced Newsletter Coordinator
Description:
Arizona Greyhound Rescue (AGR) seeks a person who has communications, marketing, or PR experience to produce a professional newsletter three times a year. This major marketing tool is mailed to adopters, volunteers,
supporters, the media, politicians, and others. The mailing list is 1,000 plus. The newsletter also gets submitted with grant applications.
Newsletters require a tightly worded format and an experienced person at the helm to oversee as well as use an accepted style guide. Please see past newsletters.
As the newsletter coordinator you would collaborate with the board and graphic designer to edit articles, do some writing, and oversee to completion. (We use a printer/bulk mailing company.)
Other responsibilities if you are willing and able to take them on would include occasional marketing materials as needed such as fliers, handouts; press releases and submitting AGR events to online calendars (list provided); writing text for advertisements and announcements; reviewing other board members handouts.
Please contact Mary Freeman, President, with your intent, experience, and sample newsletters. president.agr@azgreyhoundrescue.org
